Our Mosquito Treatment Process

Mosquitoes are not the type of pest with a nest (like wasps or ants) that we can simply kill and remove the nest, eliminating the problem. Mosquitoes can have many breeding sites once they fly (or get blown) onto your property.

Female mosquitoes can lay up to 300 eggs at a time, and a mosquito will mature from egg to adult in as little as 10 to 14 days. A small bucket with stagnant water can become home to 1,000 mosquitoes very quickly. Populations can soar. But with regular attention, we can provide a tremendous reduction of these nasty critters.

The backbone of effective mosquito control is a detailed and thorough inspection. Our trained and experienced technicians know where mosquitoes breed and where they hide during the day. The technician will identify these areas around your home or commercial property. This way, trouble areas can be targeted, and vulnerabilities can be addressed.

Next, it’s time to apply either a traditional or organic insecticide to the key areas. By identifying and treating the habitat for both adult and immature mosquitoes, we can banish them from your yard almost immediately.

Organic Mosquito Control Options

Green Giant has been investing a lot of time and effort into researching and testing organic, natural-based pest control solutions. Our organic mosquito control treatment uses natural oils and other environmentally friendly products that need to be applied every 14 days (compared to every 21 days for traditional products). These products are every bit as effective as synthetic products; they just don’t last as long.
