Tree & Shrub Care – Soil Injection
Systemic Soil Injection
Soil Injection for Trees
What Was Done:
Today’s Systemic Soil Injection application consisted of a soil applied systemic insecticide, which was injected directly into the root zone of your plants. The Systemic Soil Injection is a very effective treatment method for season-long control of certain insect pests.
Please note: If this application was done as a Spotted Lantern Fly control measure, please remember that the pests must FEED on the tree in order to be controlled. Simply landing on the tree does not expose the pest to the insecticide.
Today’s application works best when the soil is damp. If the soil is not damp, lightly irrigating each plant is recommended. The application will still be effective if the soil is not damp, but the product may take longer to be absorbed and translocated through the target plant. It is also fine to use the treated area immediately after the application is completed.
